Hands-On STEM Pathways for Youth Who Deserve Access

Tech and the Unicorns is a nonprofit organization creating practical STEM access for elementary and middle school students in under-resourced communities.

Through 3D printing, engineering, mentorship, leadership, and entrepreneurship programming, we help young people build confidence, technical fluency, and real-world problem-solving skills.

Students learning together in a STEM classroom

How It Works

  • 1. We partner with schools, libraries, and community organizations serving under-resourced youth.
  • 2. We deliver hands-on STEM programming built around practical projects and emerging technology.
  • 3. We pair technical learning with mentorship, leadership development, and entrepreneurial thinking.
  • 4. We help students build confidence, exposure, and momentum toward future education and career pathways.

Impact Model

Access

We bring technology learning to communities where equipment, instruction, and opportunity are often limited.

Confidence

Students build belief in their own ability to create, solve problems, and lead.

Mentorship

Programs connect youth with professionals and community leaders who model possibility and accountability.

Future Readiness

Experiences connect classroom learning to careers, entrepreneurship, and long-term civic contribution.

Mission: We promote equity, equality, and opportunity by providing elementary and middle school youth with hands-on STEM education centered on 3D printing, leadership, and entrepreneurship.

Vision

We envision a future where every child, regardless of income or background, has meaningful access to technology, education, and opportunity to become an innovative leader and responsible citizen.

Core Values

  • Equity: Fair access to tools, learning, and opportunity.
  • Innovation: Creativity and emerging technology are part of every experience.
  • Leadership: Students should leave more confident, capable, and responsible.
  • Community: Growth matters most when it gives back to others.
